Internal Complaints Committee

Internal Complaints Committee is constituted in the college according to the provisions of the POSH ACT-Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act of 2013 and University Grants Commission Regulations 2015.

The committee aims to prevent sexual harassment at workplace. It also aims to provide conducive environment and congenial atmosphere for women. The committee ensures that all individuals are treated with equal respect and no discriminatory treatment is meted out to anyone on grounds of gender alone.

Any aggrieved female including teaching faculty, students and other staff of the college can approach the ICC for help with the written complaint either through the complaint box placed in front of the college office or by directly, chairperson shall receive the complaints of sexual harassment, if any, on behalf of ICC and shall coordinate the deliberations of the ICC on the complaints received. If any student approaches a committee member with a complaint and if it requires an inquiry, it will be conducted, and the matter will be sorted within one week from the date of complaint. The Committee will take the responsibility to ensure that no such incident happens in the campus.
