TUTORIAL SYSTEM

    As per the regulations of the University of Kerala, the college follows Choice Based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS) in UG programmes and Semester system in PG programmes. The college offers 8 UG and 4 PG programmes with pertinent curricula.

     The tutorial system of the college constitutes Department Level Monitoring Committees and College Level Monitoring Committee. CLMC conducts meetings in regular intervals with Department Level Monitoring Committees (DLMC) to ensure effective implementation of the respective systems in both UG and PG programmes. CLMC is authorized to consider all activities and problems related with the smooth functioning of the college and to take appropriate decisions democratically in accordance with the rules and regulations of the college.

Department Level Monitoring Committees (DLMC) ensure effective implementation of the curricula in all the programmes. DLMC monitors the conduct of courses and their evaluation. Portion allotment, deputing teachers for duties other than teaching like practical duties, project supervision, question paper setting etc. are monitored by the DLMC . And the effectiveness of the functioning of District Level Monitoring Committees are regularly monitored by the CLMC.
