WOMEN’S STUDIES & WELFARE UNIT

     Women Study Unit of the college started with the aim of empowering and orienting our young women to recognize their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competing world. It functions with the aim to enhance self- esteem in young women and empower them in taking relevant decisions . Empowering the girls and fostering cordial relations among the student community, the Women’s Study Unit of the college plays a pivotal role in the upliftment of the institution.

     The unit conducts various programmes like seminars, workshops, awareness classes, exhibitions and competitions etc that nurture the overall development of the students . The unit discusses and tackles the problems of women in general. The unit creates awareness among the students on women’s rights and critically analyses women’s issues. A teaching faculty serves as the coordinator of the unit.
